In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, such as Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes maintaining surveillance over CRMS for compliance. Submits Deficiency Reports (DRs) and Support Requests (SRs) to the CRMS Functional Review Board (FRB), and programmers for error correction in CRMS. Provides updates of CRMS status to all system users. On assigned system, provides wing and command-wide review, reconciliation of data, and reports analysis. Works independently and in working groups to evaluate existing policies/procedures and develops recommendations for strategy direction. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices relating to all CDM programs. 2. Knowledge of common contract depot practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, and guidelines. 3. Knowledge of all data systems related to the execution and management of contract repair, e.g., CRMS, Commercial Asset Visibility - Air Force (CAV-AF), Purchase Instrument Process and Purchase Request Process System (PRPS/D203), Automated Budget Compilation System (ABCS), AF Stock Control System (D035), Acquisition and Due-In system (J041), Electronic Document Access (EDA), or their replacements. 4. Skill in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness, and in serving as a technical specialist and spokesperson to further organizational objectives on important issues. 5. Ability to prepare special studies and staff reports, including the ability to meet emergency and/or changing program requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quality or quantity of work. 6. Ability to establish effective working relationships and to communicate well with others, orally and in writing, including preparing and conducting formal and informal briefings. 7. Ability to plan, organize, and reprioritize work to meet changing deadlines. 8. Ability to develop and conduct informal training to ensure working level personnel, including Contractors, have a good understanding of the processes. PART-TIME OR UNPAID

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
