is currently seeking a Business Systems Programmer III for one of our clients in Robins, GA.
Must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret Clearance This is a long term contractual engagement
Job Description:
Responsible for performing complex program assignments in analyzing, defining, coding in the design, and implementing cost effective information technology solutions Conducts system programming activities such as program language codes, processing routines and report generators May develop and review operator and control instructions Prepares and conducts system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software May develop flow charts and diagrams outlining process and steps in operation Prepares documentation of program development, conducts program test and makes modification to code as needed May analyze system capabilities to resolve input/output problems (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content.

Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
Performs software analysis, design and tests software specific to area of business Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters to meet business requirements Based on defined requirements for computer-based systems, performs difficult programming assignments in analyzing, defining, coding in the design, and implementing cost effective information technology solutions Designs specific enhancements and formulates plans to upgrade computer-based systems Conducts systems programming and systems activities such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines and report generators PROBLEM COMPLEXITY:
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of client's data requires an evaluation of various factors Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Ensures project schedules and performance requirements are met IMPACT:
Contributions are usually limited to assignment related activities Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause severe adverse business/schedule impact LIAISON:
Regularly interacts with customer and/or functional per group managers May interact with management Interactions normally involve matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company FREEDOM TO ACT:
May be responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Having knowledge and experience, able to handle seldom and unusual occurring job events Ability to complete complex assignments May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to nonexempt personnel Knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, service policies and procedures and good communication skills TYPICAL EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4
years of systems programming experience Involves comprehensive knowledge of this field and the ability to complete difficult assignments Required Skills:
C#, ASP.
NET, MVC.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
