Hire Resolve's esteemed Accounting client is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to join their accounting team located in Warner Robins, Georgia.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and be eager to learn and grow within the role.
This position will involve assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial records and reports.
Duties:
Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare bank account reconciliationsAssist with payroll processing and reconciliationPass general ledger entries required to report an accurate set of financial reportsPerform basic analysis of the budget to actual results based on information received from the clientAssist with preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsPerform ad-hoc reporting tasks as requiredRequirements0-2 years of accounting experience in a professional firm environment (internships are available)Fluency in English (Written and Verbal Skills)Good MS Office skills, especially in using ExcelBasic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping proceduresGood organizational skills and attention to detailGood communication skills with proactive, supportive, and positive approachExperience working in Government Sector - PLUSFamiliarity with Quickbooks and Accounting CS - PLUS BenefitsOpportunity for learning and growthClosely working alongside clients and building the business relationshipsExperience in a wide range of accounting and financial servicesFriendly office consisting of enthusiastic and supportive staffBusiness travelHybrid working model.
